No, I'm with Rogue, this was a clear case of slapping one's forehead and going BUT OF COURSE! Smiley

Well, this looks like the end of the line, anyway... I think I could guess some more, but the problem is, can't come up with new ones myself, either...

What I meant is that, IF the American show is a success, in the future, we might have the British one back, when some new exec decides to realign the realignment...

And the "nice one" is well deserved, methinks, for the wonderful timing, soon as the show is axed in Britain it's bought by the Americans... now, I don't really know how these things work, guess it depends on individual contracts with the authors, but had the show been still in production in Britain, the Beeb might have earned a few quid with licensing fees, maybe... but that's the least of my concerns, all I know is I liked the show and the Beeb took it away... nice one, Auntie! Angry

Apparently he'll have a different name... I guess it's better than nothing.

I wouldn't say "Nice on Auntie" this decision is nothing to do with the BBC!!

Nice one, Auntie!

Well, this could be good news, after all... TV execs don't last much more than governments these days, and if the American show is a success there might still be hope to see Ollie back someday.
