Other than being annoyed that I am halfway through writing the script for a pilot episode set in a supermarket with surprising similarities, I had no problem giving this one a go (online, I do not have sky).

Having worked in a supermarket it's scarily accurate.  And quite funny.  Nice to see Mark Addy back in sitcom (maybe he's skint).  And Jane Horrocks looks like she's had a botched facelift or two, but I still would.

It wasn't a laugh a minute and the Director had overdoesed on "I know how to make things look all blurry and out of focus" pills on episode one, but I can see this one actually warming up!

"I'm the only one who's interimming around here!"
"How long have you been in to rimming then?".

Hilarious stuff, some gem lines in there.  I'll give this one the series to see how it unfolds.

I have to agree, it's not quite as funny as maybe it could have been but it does have it's moments.

Thursdays episode was the best yet!  Grin Grin Grin Grin.

Rita Mays' character "Margaret" stole the show,i'm starting to find Jane Horrocks' role rother tedious though.....
