I've added some sub-forums to discuss some of the more popular sitcoms from each era, but let me know if you think there are more deserving comedies and i may just add them. Smiley

My all-time favourite sitcom, although there's only 12 episodes of it, is certainly "Fawlty Towers".

Short as it might be, there are enough great comedy moments in it to keep fans busy discussing and recollecting them for months, I believe  Smiley

From the 60's (and earlier), I'd like to discuss the kind of stuff that's almost disappeared, the likes of Hancock's Half Hour, Not Only... But Also..., The Frost Report, At Last the 1948 Show... well, I realize most of those are sketch-shows rather than sitcoms, so it's probably not appropriate here...

Still from the 70's i like "Minder" very much, not entirely comedic perhaps, but George Cole is brilliant there.

From the 80's I'd guess "The Young Ones" could make a board of its own, as well as "Blackadder", and my fave from the 90's is "One Foot in the Grave".

Modern... um... er... I'll take a raincheck, if you don't mind... Wink

Minder is making a comeback but its not looking too great at the moment especially as ch5 are making it. never a good sign!
