Anyone seen this last saturday? The celebration of Prince Charles' 60th birthday might not sound like a bundle of fun in itself, but with a lineup including John Cleese (MC), Rowan Atkinson, Bill Bailey and Robin Williams, how can you miss it? Cheesy

Well, a bit of a mixed bag, but a couple of great moments! I'm generally not crazy about Robin Williams' film work, but I've seldom seen him doing stand-up, and he's amazing!
Best of night, imho, followed closely by Bill Bailey with one of his musical comedy numbers, and they did a semi-improvised duet, as well.

Slightly disappointed (again) about Rowan Atkinson choosing one of his old preaching vicar numbers rather than something maybe not entirely new but at least less visited, and John Cleese is possibly overdoing a bit his "old man" routine, this time he did all his compering duties in a wheelchair, with two (attractive, of course Wink) nurses attending him... Grin

Stll, a couple of nice surprises, it was heartwarming to me to see John Cleese and Andrew Sachs together again in a (very) small Fawlty Towers inspired number, funnily enough that was exactly how I had imagined an actual Fawlty Towers reprise would be... Cheesy

The grand finale was also a bit soppy, perhaps, but with a nice twist ending, I certainly didn't expect HIM to pop out at that point... Grin

i only managed to catch a very small part of the show, unfortunatly the Robin Williams part which like him i found as funny as a fire in an orphanage. I did get to see the Basil Fawlty bit though which was nice.
