I had been wondering for a while whatever happened to those emails you used to get on a daily basis, inviting you to having your penis enlarged (or growing big boobs, at times), or helping out a poor Nigerian princess recycling her illicit finances...
Well, guess mail servers' filters have grown more sophisticated, spam can't get through anymore, so we're now witnessing the new frontier, massive spamming attacks to poor, nearly defenceless communities and forums, it's happening everywhere, something like 90% of the communications I've received from forums and communities I subscribe to in the past week have been spam, it's a bloody plague...
Anything that can be done with the current filtering "tools" here, Rogue?

Yeah, Forum spam is a pain in the arse. I've deleted the current crop. So far, we've been lucky and i think this is only the second time that Classic Sitcoms has been hit with a spam attack and, with only 20 posts made was quite mild. I do have anti-spam measures in place but the software the spammers use is very advanced - I'll keep an eye on it and see if there are any new script mods to combat the latest spam software.

Spam email is the worst for me!! No, I don't want it enlarging thanks!! Though if you ever do get those emails, am I the only one who double checks the senders address? make sure it's not from someone I know... lol
I am considering having my breasts enlarged though, they ask me often enough!

I cannot tell you how many times my account for a bank i've never heard of has been compromised or how often a kindly Nigeria want to give me money.
