This is exactly what the title says... a PUB quiz...
Every good sitcom has a pub, so how many can you name?
This quiz has a total of 10. see how many you can get.. just name the sitcom that features the pub...
1 point each correct answer, which goes to the first person to post the answer...
#1... "The Crown"...

Funny how I hate quiz games on the telly (the "serious" ones, at least), but I love doing them... #1... "The Crown"... "Men Behaving Badly"

Scoreboard so far:
Gomez: 1 point. Rogue 1 point.
Let's see if any of you are stumped by this one:
"The Scarecrow and Mrs. King". (This was also the name on an AMerican sitcom, but a British comedy show used this as the name of its pub!!!!) Take it away....

Well, this took me a while, but it's the only pub in the village, right? "The Scarecrow and Mrs. King" is Dafydd's pub in "Little Britain"

CORRECT!!
"The Scarecrow and Mrs. King" is the gay bar with only one gay! "Little Britain" it is - not technically a sitcom, but a british comedy none the less.
GOMEZ 2 points ROGUE 1 point.
PUB #4 of 10... I'll give you this one early, but it's meant to be one a day, so there won't be one tomorrow!!
"The Mayhew"...

Aw, c'mon... what do you mean there won't be one tomorrow...? That's unfair, especially since the last was a trick question, "The Mayhew" was in "Two Pints of Lager and a Packet of Crisps", again, so it shouldn't count as a "full day" question...

Oh you swine I thought that might be a tricky one.. as it was only in the first series.. of course an in-joke to Paul Mayhew-Archer, who has co-written several sitcoms and helped get that show of the ground.. damn, I thought that was an obscure one... I wouldn't class it as a trick question... oh, ok it was... Ok, there'll be one tomorrow... but I'm running out of pubs... no, one thing I know about is pubs!!!!... I really thought that would be a stumper... Grrrrr... Well done mate!!!! GOMEZ 3 POINTS ROGUE 1.

The secret is... I like beer, even if it's fictional! If you did a quiz about, dunno, hairdresser salons in comedy shows, I'd be seriously out of my depths...

Well, guess it'll have to be me again... feels a bit unfair...
"The Feathers" is the pub where hardly anyone ever goes in "The Royle Family", isn't it?
