No Royale Family this christmas

The popular Royle Family Christmas special has been axed — because creators Caroline Aherne and Craig Cash have failed to deliver the script in time.
The comedy is traditionally one of BBC1's highest rating Christmas Day programmes — winning 9.9 million viewers last year — and was already in the schedules for this year.
Stars such as Sue Johnson, who plays Barbara, had planned time out from their busy schedules to film it.
But disappointed bosses have had to hastily re-arrange plans after realising it would not be ready in time.

Possibly the comedy highlight for this year's xmas tv down the pan!

Thank god!!!!!!!!! I have been praying for this show not to be on TV again and here it is!!! You've made me very happy. That's two lots of Royals to miss on Christmas day!!
