I can name his ears... that's what gave him away, innit? Cheesy

But I never followed this series, just seen the odd episode, it's no use racking my brains for something that just isn't there.

Rogue.. I accept that... Gary Strang.  The flatmate (Neil Morrissey) was Tony (Surname never mentioned).  Before him, Harry Enfiled played Dermot.  Well done, was that a little obscure?  To me that was an easy one...  your go Rogue..

A bit of a trick question that, Rogue, with the character and the actor having the same name... Smiley

Luckily I'm a HUGE fan of good old Eric, one of the "founding fathers" of modern British comedy, the man deserves some accolade, but is rather forgotten by the wide public AND the broadcasters.

When will we have a decent DVD release of "Sykes" and many other things he did?

Alright, next...

He's a middle-aged chap, NOT enjoying early retirement at all. Well-meaning but short-tempered and with a sharp tongue, having too much free time on his hands often lands him, and his long-suffering wife, in some very... imaginative scraps, especially when his equally short-tempered next-door neighbour is involved...

He is...?

Nope... remember, it's the character, not the actor, we're looking for.

As a bit more help, it's none ever played by Harry H. Corbett, anyway.
