Catherine Tate is to appear on the last episode of NBC’s The Office as a candidate for the Office Manager postition, due to be vacated by Steve Carell. That means she could be taking over his role.
Ricky Gervais (AKA the infamous David Brent, on whom Carell’s character is based) will also appear as a candidate, alongside Will Arnett, James Spader and Everybody Loves Raymond’s Ray Romano.
Will Ferell has also agreed to appear on four episodes leaing up to Carell’s exit, according to TV Line.
