I understand Chris Lilley is quite popular Down Under. I've only seen the latest (I think) episode of "Angry Boys", and after some initial disorientation where most of the characters seemed to speak Hungarian , once my ear was accustomed I had a few good chuckles, especially with the Fat Boys Surfing School and the guy who gets stuck into things ("I don't know, it's gone sort of purple!")

There's some pretty good Aussie stuff, if you come across it, my favourite is probably "Pizza", another "quirky" one which ran for quite some time some 10 years ago, and of course good old Paul Hogan, who could be much funnier than Crocodile Dundee, in his TV shows
