No, I'm not... but Steve Coogan was!!

What does everyone make of this? 

I discovered this series late (and even later discovered the program it was a spin off from Knowing  Me, Knowing You  I love the show.  Steve has created (well, Peter Baynam created him) a character who has those character traits of someone we have all met at some point.  Most of the time is spent cringing at Alans ignorance, which is where the comedy lies.

I dont have a favourite between series 1 and 2, I think they are both good - one of the few 90s comedies that I can tolerate.

I love it, i think Steve Coogan played him perfectly. Its one of the few comedies of recent years that'll go down as a classic.
