The Bless This House movie...

I've always wondered why Robin Stewart was replaced in the movie by Robin Askwith in the movie version? Was it to have a box office name?, was Robin Stewart just unavailable? Any one know the reason?

as far as im know it was because Stewart had other acting commitments at the time the movie was filmed
